The second phase of the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (CJRS) has now been launched. From 1st July, only employees that employers have already successfully claimed a previous government grant will be eligible for additional grants under the revised scheme. This means they must have previously been furloughed for at least three consecutive weeks, and taking place any time between 1 March and 30 June 2020.
