New Kid On The Block - Meet Our New Social Media Executive
There's a new kid on the block here at Raffingers. Meet Simone, our new Social Media Executive! To celebrate this new arrival into the Raffingers team, we thought we'd give our readers an insight into our new team member so that you can learn more about her and discover her plans for the future of Raffingers and Raffingers Marketing!
1. What was your job role before joining us?
I was a social media marketing freelancer focusing on Instagram, TikTok and newly LinkedIn.
2. Talk us through your prior experience?
I worked with small businesses that wanted to humanise their brand and build a strong presence on social media. This would involve forming a strategy, loads of chitchat to get to know them and their brand, and keeping up with the latest trends and new features the popular apps had to offer amongst other important tasks to get their brand to become the main character.
3. What interested you about this role?
Being given freedom to change the way ‘boring’ brands look on social media amongst working with a team of creative heads.
4. What are you looking forward to doing most in the coming year/s?
Filming fun videos with different personalities and keeping on creating.
5. Do you have any hobbies outside of work? If so, what are they?
I love to bake and go to different experiences with friends, such as the Xmas markets (even though it's only once a year!)
6. What was your route like into accounting?
It was more like jumping out of a plane!
7. A fun fact about yourself?
Fun fact...I get hangry.
9. Who inspires you?
No one really...eek!
10. What’s the best book you’ve read recently?
I’m currently reading a book I've forgotten the name of...does that answer the question?
11. What’s something you’re proud of?
My career progress.
12. What’s your idea of a perfect workday?
My idea of a perfect workday would be working from home in the summer with a virgin pina colada, scrolling through TikToks looking for great sounds!
13. If you could have dinner with 3 celebs dead or alive, who would they be?
- Drake
- Beyonce
- Viola Davis
14. If you were an animal, what one would you be and why?
A dolphin! They just live rent-free and dance around I love it!
15. What do you hope to bring to the company?
Good vibes, great communication, and a new way of presenting brands.
16. How do you see the world of accountancy changing?
Hmm, if it changes it’ll probably become more Gen Z-trified.
