Why did you choose to become an accountant?
Like most kids growing up in Dagenham, I wanted to be a footballer. However, the next Trevor Brooking I wasn’t to be! Therefore my love of ‘figures’ meant the world of accountancy was a good fit.
And if you had not been an accountant?
I genuinely always wanted to join the Marines. And I do feel like a frustrated soldier at heart. But being slightly vertically challenged prevented me fulfilling that.
Most exciting moment?
Obviously the birth of my children. But 2017 has been pretty good too. I have taken part in the London Marathon, the Suunto Great London Swim, and jumped out of a plane at 10,000 feet.
And your worst moment?
West Ham losing to Spurs in any given season.
