Join us Tuesday 21 May from 8.30am – 12.30pm
Raffingers is working with Civil Society to help charities and not-for-profits prepare for Making Tax Digital (MTD). Last year, the government made an announcement that MTD would be delayed until October 2019 for certain organisations such as non-profits and trusts.
In our seminar your charity will get to explore the MTD process and how it will affect your charity, how to make the correct preparations to become compliant, what records you need to keep and what digital software is needed.
During this morning session, we will be joined by tax specialists across the sector including a speaker from HMRC who will be able to guide you through the process of switching to digital accounting. There will also be insight from a charity who has already started the transition from paper-based to cloud accounting.
Our Partner Suda and Associate Partner Mehul will be presenting at 10am and will cover the following:
- Making Tax Digital overview and its significance to charities
- Cloud accounting software; its benefits and challenges
- Cloud accounting applications for productivity and efficiency
- Best practice on transitioning to cloud accounting
- Case study
This seminar will be a good opportunity for your charity to gain advice from the expert speakers, as well as network.
